Mangenius' Inflated Self-Image
According to this NFL blog, Eric Mangini puts himself in the same boat as the Beatles and Conan O'Brien.
I love football and it's a high-profile sport, but to call yourself the Pete Best and Conan O'Brien of music and comedy respectively shows that your self-image is clearly inflated... not to mention your logic is flawed.
While I can't speak for the details of Pete Best's contributions to the Beatles pre-Ringo Starr, I can pretty much tell you Eric that you probably had very little to do with the Jet's success this year.
Why don't you take some time to focus on your current team and improving such a terrible record such as 5-11?
NFL Football blog... including a life goal to see all 32 teams play in their home stadium.

More Drama from the Baby
Who is running this team anyway? If you've missed the media coverage, you must have forgotten to pay your cable bill because somehow this is the big story of the week...

Dear Cowboys, What Planet Do You Live On?
Goshdarnit Jerry! What are you smoking? $90 pizza in the new stadium? PLAIN!?! What possible justification is there for this cost? Did you learn NOTHING from the Yankees debacle this year? Over-priced seats were one thing... $90 pizza is another... I don't care if you're in a luxury suite box.
Newsflash Jerry - there is ZERO ROI for a business to take a client (or potential client) to your client to a luxury suite, pay additional for tickets and on top of that get charged $90 for a plain pizza.
Get Real.
Thanks,
NFL Sah

PS. I searched google images for a picture of a pizza and every image had toppings...can't even FIND a plain pizza now-a-days.

Small Change but Big Impact
NFL had always posted headlines and links to their articles in the top right-hand corner of their site. They recently updated the site so that instead of only being able to display the last couple of articles, now you can sort them by "most commented" and "most recommended" (in the last 2 days). Simple, but brilliant. I love you NFL.com.

Business of Baseball...???
For my loyal readers out there, you must know what I think of baseball... for those of you who don't, it's easy to guess. However, some bizarre piece of my brain thought it would be a good idea to use 5 vacations day from work to attend a 5-day intense bootcamp on the "business of baseball" at NYU.
On Day 1, it was clear to me within the first 10 minutes that I was probably the second least knowledge-able person in the room when it came to baseball... I wondered how I would survive and fare through the next few days.
The answer: amazingly. Because I know enough sports I was able to pick everything up fairly quickly. Additionally, I have been the third top contributor to the discussions.
And yes, it's true. I have now found even more evidence why Football surpasses baseball in every single way. I have more ammo than ever!! mwahahaha

Superbowl Superboring
Steelers - Cardinals? Really? Really? Unless you live in Arizona or Pittsburgh (i can't even say Pennsylvania since there are 2 teams for the single state) - you are probably not that excited about this superbowl.
This frequently happens with the superbowl... so rarely is the game close. Most of the time it is a blow out and that is my prediction for tomorrow. Sawwy. I hope I'm wrong. :(
