My New Life Motto
Living with a Patriot fan and having my wedding at Gillette has corrupted my brain. I'm going to start taking on the Bill Belichick motto...

It is what it is.

Better than trying to chant "serenity now", don'tchya think?

Giants - Patriots (1/32)

Saturday, December 2007

It's week 17 and the Patriots have gone the entire season undefeated!  When Steve and I bought the tickets as a Christmas gift for our families, we had no idea it would be such an important and exciting game!  Unfortunately for the New Yorkers, the Patriots won, but it was not without its excitement!

Records:

  • Brady record for most TDs/season
  • Moss record for most TDs / season
  • Patriots end the regular season 16-0

Highlights:

  • Giants score a TD on a kick return
  • [Added later]  We had no idea that what we were watching would turn out to be a preview of the Superbowl matchup

Trip memories:

  • Nothing like the limo driver bumping another car on the way home...

Setting:

  • worst seats possible: Last Row of the 300's on an end zone (meadowlands stadium)
  • none the less, it was an intense, exciting game with everyone standing the entire time
  • weather was biting and cold but tolerable

Mission: first game of our goal to see all 32 teams!
Game Award : highest level of play
