I agree on both fronts. The Giants won't trade Shockey. They had an opportunity to do so with New Orleans in the second round, and I think Shockey is absolutely worth a second round pick. As a Patriots fan, I can't get the image of Kevin Boss burning Rodney Harrison in the Super Bowl, so while Boss may not be ready right away to be an impact in the passing game, I think he's a better blocker than Shockey and the team was obviously successful with him in the playoff run. Shockey would have been a great fit in NOLA also, so it's too bad. That would have been a nice deal for both sides.
